This elegant Ruby is from Mozambique. Naturally endowed with extensive Ruby deposits, they were only first confirmed in 2008. Mozambique has joined the elite ranks of world Ruby producers with large unheated stones with excellent colour.

This ruby arrived as a rough stone from Mozambique and the master tradesman of Sri Lanka have cut and polished this gem, just like their forebears have done for thousands of years before them.

The result is this stunning 2.03 ct untreated, emerald cut, vivid red gem, with no inclusions.

This stones colour would be highlighted when surrounded by a cluster of diamonds. As a result this type of gem is in demand by designers and investors alike. It is perfect for setting in a pendant or ring. Alternatively, by request, an additional matching stone could be procured to complement this stone.
